Maintaining comfort near the end of life is our top priority. We use tools such as medication, physical therapy, fluid therapy, and environmental modification as needed to help keep your pet calm and comfortable near the end of their life. Please schedule a phone consult to see how we can help your pet.
Say goodbye to your friend in the comfort of your own home. We strive to make euthanasia as peaceful as possible and to support you and your family throughout the entire process. We use tools such as fear-free handling and pre-euthanasia sedation to help keep your pet calm and comfortable. If you have any questions or concerns about the euthanasia process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
We provide guidance and coordination of aftercare. Whether you are looking for cremation, burial in a pet cemetery, private burial, or preservation; we can help connect you with services, products, or education. If you are unsure of what aftercare options suit you best, we would be happy to talk through the options with you. Please see the "Aftercare Options" tab of our website for more detailed information.
We understand that the loss of a pet can be as devastating as the loss of a close friend or relative. We provide resources during the appointment for understanding grief around pet loss as well as links to counseling resources. If you are struggling with the decision of euthanasia or the loss of your pet, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
If your pet needs immediate medical attention, please call the UF Emergency Department, BluePearl Gainesville, UrgentVet Gainesville, CCVS Meadowbrook, or your regular veterinarian. We do not provide emergency care or primary care veterinary services.
